Project summary:

The Șimian Solar Parks 1 & 2 (2023) project in Mehedinți County was successfully developed on a 9-hectare site under a 25-year surface rights contract, with an installed capacity of 6 MW per park (total 12 MW) and an inverter capacity of 5 MW per park. Achieving “Ready to Build” status within the 2022-2023 period, the project involved land acquisition, design, and permitting phases, ensuring compliance and efficiency. The fully developed solar parks were sold at the Ready-to-Build stage, allowing the new owner to proceed with construction and operation, contributing to Romania’s growing renewable energy sector.

Motru Solar Parks 1 & 2 (2024)

The Motru Solar Parks 1 & 2 (2024) project in Gorj County was successfully developed on two plots of approximately 7.8 hectares each under a 30-year surface rights contract. With an installed capacity of 4 MW per park (total 8 MW), an inverter capacity of 2.7 MW per park (total 5.4 MW), and a storage capacity of 1 MW per park (total 2 MW), the project reached “Ready to Build” status in August 2024.
