CONSTRUCTION OF MOTRU PHOTOVOLTAIC PARK LOT 2, COMPRISING: PHOTOVOLTAIC
PANELS, METAL STRUCTURE, INVERTERS, INTERNAL TRANSFORMERS, ELECTRICAL
LINES, GRID CONNECTION INSTALLATIONS, LAND ARRANGEMENT AND
INTERNAL/PRIVATE ACCESS ROADS, CONSTRUCTION SITE ORGANIZATION, LAND ENCLOSURESMIS”, CODE 328071

Beneficiary: MOTRU SOLAR ENERGY S.R.L., fiscal identification code 48791554, registered
with the Trade Register under no. J40/17294/2023, with registered office in Bucharest
Municipality, Calea Floreasca Street no. 165, 4th Floor, ONE TOWER Building, Room 7,
Sector 1, Romania.

Financed through the Modernisation Fund and implemented at national level by the
Ministry of Energy, acting as the national implementation and management authority.

Specific Objective OS1.1:
Increase of solar renewable energy production capacity up to 5 MW, inclusive, in order to
achieve the objectives set out in the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan
2021–2030, approved by Government Decision no. 1076/2021 regarding the overall share
of energy from renewable sources in gross final energy consumption, financed through
the Modernisation Fund, based on Financing Contract no. 1323/11.11.2025.

The general objective of the project is to increase electricity production from renewable
sources by developing and commissioning a new electricity generation capacity from solar
energy, together with an electricity storage capacity, in order to support grid flexibility
and stability and ensure efficient integration into the National Energy System.

The specific objectives of the project are as follows:

1. Construction, commissioning and connection to the National Energy System of a solar
   electricity generation installation with an installed capacity of 2.7 MW, as well as an
   electricity storage installation with a capacity of 1 MW / 2.032 MWh, located in Motru,
   Gorj County;
2. Reduction of CO₂ emissions by approximately 2,889.95 tonnes annually through the
   development of a non-polluting electricity generation and storage infrastructure,
   replacing conventional sources such as coal, gas and fuel oil;
3. Achievement of an annual production of approximately 4,722.91 MWh from renewable
   sources and its delivery into the National Energy System.
   The implementation address of the proposed investment project is Lipova locality, Arad
   County, cadastral number 301929.
   

The main project activities include preparation of technical documentation,
implementation of the investment, site supervision, project audit, and the
implementation of information and publicity activities.

The output indicator is FMS04 Newly installed capacity for electricity production from
renewable sources such as wind, solar or hydro, amounting to 2.700 MW at commissioning.

The total project value is RON 15,121,503.83 including VAT, of which the maximum
amount secured from the Modernisation Fund is RON 2,012,161.50.

The project implementation period extends from the date on which the Beneficiary
submitted the Financing Application until the date of the commissioning acceptance
report of the investment, in accordance with the activity schedule, but no later than
31.12.2026.
